Job Description

Overview

Enjet Aero, LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician to support aerospace manufacturing operations within the EDM Department. The role involves developing work instructions, setting up and troubleshooting EDM machines, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards to meet production deadlines.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve work instructions and process documentation for EDM operations.
  • Set up and operate EDM machines according to engineering and quality requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, and correct machine operational and process-related issues.
  • Interpret and understand G-code and make adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Train and mentor production employees on EDM processes and best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain quality documentation, including inspection records.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and support audits.
  • Perform precision measurements using measuring tools and promote safety policies.

Required skills

  • Technical experience in EDM machining within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of EDM machine setup and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret G-code and engineering drawings
  • Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
  • Proficient in precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing documentation and quality records
  • Ability to train and communicate effectively with staff
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality compliance
  • Knowledge of NADCAP and AS9100 / ISO 9001 systems preferred
  • Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
