Overview

The Engineering Support Technician at Metalcraft of Mayville is responsible for managing data and documentation that supports various business departments in creating products for Fortune 500 customers. This role involves preparing and maintaining engineering documents and bills of materials while collaborating with teams in Operations, Purchasing, and Accounting.

Key responsibilities

  • Creation and maintenance of bills of materials and shop routings in the computer data system
  • Gathering documents for new and revised projects including customer drawings and 3D models
  • Processing internal and external revisions and communicating details with teams
  • Printing and distributing engineering drawings to shop work areas
  • Assisting the Estimating Team with tasks such as printing drawings and handling RFQs
