Job Description

Overview

As a CAD-PLM Administrator at Hoerbiger, you will manage the Product Lifecycle Management System (PLM) and related software across a global manufacturing organization. This role involves providing technical support to the engineering team, ensuring best practices are utilized in software configurations, and leading the implementation of new processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Support and maintain PLM/CAD software and add-ons
  • Develop and provide training for PDM/CAD/ERP software best practices
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party software purchases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PDM/CAD/ERP software
  • Lead and assist in new software planning and implementation
  • Maintain and integrate a parts library into the CAD system
  • Ensure engineering standards are maintained in CAD drawings

Required skills

  • 4+ years of product development experience with 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor Professional)
  • Experience with PLM (Autodesk Vault Professional) and ERP application software
  • Associate's degree in Drafting/Design or similar field
  • Project management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to coordinate with global teams
  • Effective communication skills for presentations
  • Problem-solving and data analysis capabilities
