Job Description

Overview

The CAD-PLM Administrator at Hoerbiger will be responsible for managing the Product Lifecycle Management System (PLM) and related software across the global manufacturing organization. This role involves providing technical support to the Engineering Team, facilitating software training, and implementing best practices in PDM/CAD/ERP processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Support and maintain PLM/CAD software and associated add-ons
  • Identify, develop, implement, and train best practices in PDM/CAD/ERP software
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party software add-ons
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PDM/CAD/ERP software
  • Lead and assist in planning and implementing new PLM/CAD/ERP software
  • Create and maintain a library of parts and materials in the CAD system
  • Ensure CAD drawings comply with engineering standards

Required skills

  • Minimum of four years product development experience using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor Professional) and PLM (Autodesk Vau
  • Experience with ERP application software in an engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Associate's degree in Drafting/Design or similar Engineering Function
  • Project management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to coordinate with global teams
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Problem-solving and data analysis skills
