Job Description

Overview

As the CAD-PLM Administrator at Hoerbiger, you will manage and support the Product Lifecycle Management System (PLM) and related software across the manufacturing organization. This role involves providing technical support to the Engineering Team, ensuring proper software configuration, and developing best practices for software utilization.

Key responsibilities

  • Support and maintain PLM/CAD software and associated add-ons
  • Develop and provide training for new processes in PDM/CAD/ERP software
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party software add-ons
  • Identify and resolve root causes of software issues
  • Plan and implement new PLM/CAD/ERP software solutions
  • Create and maintain a library of parts, standard notes, and materials in CAD
  • Check CAD drawings to ensure engineering standards are maintained

Required skills

  • Minimum four years product development experience with 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor Professional)
  • Experience with PLM (Autodesk Vault Professional) and ERP application software
  • Associate's degree in Drafting/Design or equivalent
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional global teams
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
