Overview

The Engineer-Building III at Marriott International in Marco Island, Florida is responsible for responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. The role requires strong mechanical and engineering skills to troubleshoot various hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Conduct safety inspections and comply with safety and security policies.
  • Train and mentor other engineers as necessary.
  • Perform duties related to Engineer on Duty responsibilities.
  • Adhere to company quality expectations and standards.
