Job Description

Overview

The Engineer 2 at Primient is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of assigned plant areas through troubleshooting, process optimization, and project management. This role aims to enhance production efficiency, improve energy use, and minimize costs while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Take technical ownership of multiple unit operations to ensure efficiency and reliability
  • Manage engineering assignments including process studies and capital projects
  • Serve as a key resource for troubleshooting process upsets and conducting root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and troubleshoot processes
  • Monitor plant performance and recommend process adjustments based on data analysis

Required skills

  • BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Bio, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 2-3 years post-graduation work experience
  • Previous manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • Process optimization and project management
  • Technical troubleshooting
  • Energy efficiency and quality control knowledge
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
