Overview

ProTouch Staffing is looking for a part-time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join their outpatient clinic in San Francisco, California. The role involves caring for patients with diabetes, obesity, and metabolic syndrome, while engaging in clinical research and program development within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage patients with diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and other endocrine disorders
  • Provide advanced care for patients with multi-comorbidities requiring higher-level medical decision-making
  • Utilize a holistic, lifestyle-focused approach emphasizing appropriate prescribing and education
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dietitians and diabetes educators
  • Contribute to clinic growth, program development, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in clinical research opportunities for additional income

Required skills

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
  • Board Certification required
  • Eligible for medical licensure in California
