Job Description

Overview

Grandview Medical Center is looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Endocrinologist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in Birmingham, Alabama. The selected candidate will work in an outpatient-focused practice, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to manage and treat patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of the endocrine system
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
  • Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests
  • Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Stay current with advancements in endocrinology through continuing medical education
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research if applicable
