Overview

OSF HealthCare is seeking a BC/BE Endocrinology Physician to join their dynamic practice in Rockford, Illinois. The team includes one Endocrinologist, two APPs, two diabetic educators, and dedicated support staff, providing expert-level care in diabetes and general endocrine medicine, along with a flexible call schedule and convenient clinic hours.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level care in diabetes and endocrine medicine
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs and diabetic educators
  • Manage patient care and education
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient management
  • Participate in research and clinical teamwork

Required skills

  • Medical degree and licensed to practice in Illinois
  • Board certified or eligible in Endocrinology
  • Experience with electronic medical records (Epic EMR)
  • Knowledge of patient management and education in endocrinology
  • Ability to prescribe narcotics as applicable
