Job Description

Overview

The Emergency Services Coordinator will conduct safety audits and inspections across the Six Flags property to ensure regulatory compliance. They will also respond to fire-related emergencies and support the Fire Brigade, as well as educate employees on safety standards and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to fire-related calls as part of the Fire Brigade
  • Conduct and record safety audits and inspections
  • Analyze safety risks before or during projects
  • Educate employees on safety standards and procedures
  • Provide recommendations for improving workplace safety
  • Investigate onsite accidents and identify causes
  • Maintain documentation of safety procedures and accidents
  • Act as a liaison with external partners like Fire Agencies
  • Maintain Safety Department equipment and facilities
  • Complete tasks assigned by supervisors

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • NJ Firefighter 1 Certification
  • ICS 100 and 200.c certifications
  • IS-700 and IS-800 certifications
  • Current and Valid CPR Certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing
  • Pump Operations Certified (preferred)
  • OSHA 10 (preferred)
  • IMS Level 1 (preferred)
  • Hazardous Materials On Scene Incident Commander (preferred)
  • Experience in fire and medical incidents (preferred)
