Accountable Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants for locum tenens coverage at a Level III Emergency Department in Lansing, Michigan. The position involves independent practice in a fast track unit with a focus on patient care during defined shifts.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide independent patient care in a 10-bed fast track unit
  • Work day shifts from 11a to 11p
  • Manage an annual ER volume of 40,150 patients
  • Collaborate with attending physician available 24/7 by phone
  • Ensure compliance with medical licensing and vaccination requirements

Required skills

  • Emergency Medicine experience
  • Patient Care skills
  • 2 years recent ED experience
  • Active Michigan License
  • DEA certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • ATLS certification
  • Clinical Assessment skills
