Overview

Accountable Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine PAs/NPs for locum tenens coverage at a Level III Emergency Department in Lansing, Michigan. The position involves working independently in a fast track unit with attending physician support available.

Key responsibilities

  • Practice independently in a 10-bed fast track unit
  • Provide patient care during Day Shifts (11a-11p)
  • Manage an average of 110 patients per day shared among providers
  • Ensure quality care with attending physician oversight
  • Complete necessary documentation and clinical assessments

Required skills

  • Emergency Medicine experience
  • Physician Assistant certification
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • ATLS certification
  • Medical Malpractice insurance knowledge
  • Clinical assessment skills
  • Active Michigan medical license
  • DEA certification
  • Up-to-date vaccination records
