Overview

Archway Physician Recruitment is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join a cardiac critical care team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role focuses on providing advanced care for patients in an intensive care setting, working both independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform detailed, problem-focused patient assessments
  • Diagnose and initiate treatment plans for patients with complex acute conditions
  • Conduct daily rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
  • Prepare and perform documentation, including History & Physicals, progress notes, consults, and discharge summaries
  • Order and manage medications, treatments, and consultations based on clinical data
  • Perform various procedures including central venous and temporary dialysis line placements, arterial line placement, intubation, chest tube insertion, and electrical cardioversion
  • Assist in initiation and discontinuation of mechanical circulatory support devices
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and medications
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring for staff and learners as appropriate
