WhiteCoat Locums is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for part-time locum coverage in Galesburg, Illinois. The position involves working alongside physicians in a collaborative environment, managing a daily emergency department census of approximately 60 patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Conduct patient assessments and perform procedures
  • Manage emergencies and assist with daily patient management
  • Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff
  • Ensure proper documentation and communication

Required skills

  • Credential: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Active Illinois State License
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR
  • EMR System: EPIC
