Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Emergency Medicine Physician in Buffalo, NY. This role offers clinical autonomy, flexibility, and a focus on wound management, providing an opportunity to work with advanced technologies while maintaining a healthy work-life balance with no nights, calls, or weekend responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Manage clinical documentation in real time during clinical rounds using proprietary EMR
  • Participate in paid training and a wound care fellowship
  • Work a minimum of 3 weekdays per week

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in emergency medicine and wound care
  • Clinical documentation skills
  • Patient management abilities
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations
