Job Description

Overview

BAS Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a well-established hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. The facility offers a busy Emergency Department that handles approximately 58,000 patient visits per year and operates as a Level 2 trauma center with modern resources and comprehensive support services.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage 15-20 patient encounters per shift
  • Perform laceration repair, I&D, intubation, central lines, and chest tubes
  • Utilize point of care ultrasound and ultrasound guided IVs
  • Collaborate with APPs scheduled from 9a-9p
  • Work alongside full 24-hour availability of support services

Required skills

  • Emergency Medicine board certification
  • ACLS certification
  • ATLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • Missouri medical license
  • Experience with trauma care and emergency procedures
