Overview

WhiteCoat Locums is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage for facilities near Pittsburgh, PA. The role requires flexibility to cover various shifts and manage a mix of high-acuity and lower-acuity cases across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 emergency coverage based on assigned rotating shifts.
  • Treat patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Perform emergency department procedures, including managing codes, intubations, and central lines.
  • Float between several facilities as needed.

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (highly preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience
  • Active Pennsylvania State License (highly preferred) or IMLC
  • BLS certification required
  • DEA certification required
  • Experience with trauma management and critical care
