Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a Part-Time Emergency Medicine Physician in Batavia, NY. The position offers a unique opportunity for physicians to specialize in wound management within a flexible work environment that promotes clinical excellence and work-life balance, with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Utilize proprietary wound-specific EMR for clinical documentation in real-time
  • Participate in ongoing wound management training and fellowship program
  • Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice
  • Experience in emergency medicine and wound management
  • Clinical documentation and patient care skills
  • Familiarity with telemedicine practices
