VISTA Staffing Solutions is seeking an Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Whiteville, North Carolina. The role involves providing 24-hour coverage in an Emergency Department setting with a significant patient volume.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care in the Emergency Department
  • Manage a patient volume of 24,000 annually
  • Cover night shifts as required
  • Obtain necessary credentials, including Board Certification
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for patient records
  • Handle all case types as per delineation of privileges

Required skills

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS
  • Active unrestricted NC medical license
  • DEA with NC address
  • Experience in handling a broad range of emergency cases
