Overview

OVP Cambridge is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team. The role requires a commitment of at least 5 shifts per month, with credentialing taking a minimum of 90 days. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine with emergency medicine experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide medical care in a 16-bed emergency department
  • Work 12-hour shifts with physician coverage available 24 hours a day
  • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) covering 36 hours per day
  • Manage patient care in the emergency setting

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine
  • Experience in emergency medicine
  • Clinical skills in healthcare and patient care
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR
