Overview

Austin Major Group is looking for experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide coverage for Trauma Surgery and Emergency General Surgery in Pennsylvania. The position offers flexible scheduling with both day and night shifts and no call responsibilities at a Level II Trauma Center.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient coverage for Trauma & Emergency General Surgery
  • Conduct morning rounds and manage ongoing inpatient care
  • First assist in the operating room
  • Manage trauma activations and EGS consults
  • Perform critical care management
  • Carry out typical procedures such as cholecystectomy and appendectomy

Required skills

  • Board Certified NP or PA
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Active Pennsylvania license
  • DEA & CSR required
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
  • Experience in Trauma Surgery and Emergency Medicine
