Overview

HCLTech is seeking a highly talented and self-motivated Embedded Tester to enhance their team focused on advancing technology through innovation. The role is primarily based in Frisco, Texas, and involves testing for safety-critical handheld medical devices, requiring a strong understanding of software testing and analysis.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand and test design developed in C for micro-controller in Non-RTOS/RTOS environments for safety-critical handheld medical devices.
  • Analyze requirements and identify gaps for input documents related to safety-critical handheld medical devices.
  • Develop and execute software integration test plans and protocols for medical device software development.
  • Identify relevant test hardware equipment for system testing.
  • Perform software code regression analysis with knowledge of custom hardware design.
  • Participate in requirements, design, and code review meetings.

Required skills

  • Experience in embedded systems and software testing
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming
  • Understanding of microcontrollers and RTOS
  • Knowledge of medical device development and safety-critical standards
  • Experience with regression testing
