Design and communicate developmentally appropriate learning objectives for K1K5 students across subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, science, informed by principles from educational linguistics and language development. Prepare and implement daily lesson plans that meet educational standards and are adapted to the varying needs and abilities of students. Establish and maintain a positive and structured classroom environment by enforcing consistent behavioral expectations and promoting language-rich interactions. Prepare outlines, teaching materials, and class activities for Think Academys academic programs and propose ways to encourage new teaching techniques and engaging learning experiences. Deliver instruction through multimodal methods such as lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and group work, while continuously monitoring and assessing student engagement and language acquisition. Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students' progress; meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and to determine priorities in learning. Encourage language exploration and critical thinking through project-based learning and guided inquiry, preparing students for higher-level academic work and supporting their cognitive growth. Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in staff meetings, academic writing projects, and workshops to improve pedagogical practices and cultural responsiveness.
