Overview

Match Education is seeking an Elementary School Science Teacher for their Hyde Park campus in Boston, MA, starting in the school year 2026-27. This role involves teaching elementary level science classes and developing curriculum aligned with the school's mission to support a diverse student body, including multilingual learners and those requiring special education services.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach elementary level science classes to one grade of students
  • Develop daily lessons and assessments aligned with Match's Science curriculum
  • Serve as part of the Science department, covering additional courses when needed
  • Contribute to intervention, clubs, or other academic programming on Fridays
  • Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students
  • Participate actively in coaching and professional development programming
  • Assist with school programming during non-instructional time
  • Be a collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community

Required skills

  • At least two years of full-time experience as a classroom or special education teacher
  • Valid and appropriate license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or ability to meet
  • Commitment to student success and achievement
  • Desire for continual improvement as a teacher
