Overview

ProStaff Solutions Inc is looking for an Electronics Technician II to join a manufacturing company in Richardson, Texas. The role involves testing, troubleshooting, and repairing PCB assemblies, while also programming and operating automated assembly equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret bills of materials, work orders, and schematics to determine testing procedures.
  • Perform functional tests on subassemblies and finished products.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on test procedures and results.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of product failures and communicate findings to management.
  • Set up and run SMT stencil print, placement, or reflow equipment.
  • Work with the team to produce surface mount PCB boards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Required skills

  • Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with soldering
  • Familiarity with electronic circuits and components
  • Proficient in testing and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
