Overview

As an Electronics Technician at Conflux Systems in Johnson City, TN, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex electronics issues. This role involves hands-on circuit repairs, building custom test rigs, and assisting engineers in research and development activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in electronic assemblies using test equipment
  • Performing soldering (both SMT and through-hole) and circuit repairs
  • Building and maintaining custom test rigs and ensuring calibration of test equipment
  • Assisting engineers in prototyping, testing, and assembling electronics for new products
  • Investigating returned products and supporting root cause analysis on customer issues

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in the electronics or related industry
  • Strong understanding of electronics diagnostics, circuit testing, and fault finding
  • Proficient in soldering, wiring, and reading schematics
  • Experience in building electronic assemblies
  • Familiarity with technical documentation and managing equipment records
  • Associates in electrical/electronics engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred
