Job Description

Overview

The Electronics Technician at Chemtrac supports the Engineering and Production Teams in the design, testing, assembly, calibration, and maintenance of electronic instrumentation products. This hands-on role offers opportunities for growth in troubleshooting, product testing, and engineering support within a collaborative team environment at a well-established company in the water quality solutions space.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with product assembly and gain familiarity with designs and manufacturing
  • Support calibrations, quality checks, and final testing of products
  • Identify assembly or test issues in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing
  • Support 3D printing needs for R&D and manufacturing parts
  • Diagnose and repair returned products, identifying root causes of failures
  • Participate in documentation updates and controlled procedures
  • Assist with developing test fixtures and automation as skills develop
  • Take on more technical and design-related tasks based on performance

Required skills

  • Solid understanding of electronics and digital systems
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
