Job Description

Overview

The Electronics Technician I role at CornerStone Staffing involves supporting electronic assembly and calibration operations in Tempe, AZ. The position requires programming, testing, and troubleshooting microprocessor-controlled equipment and flow measurement systems, ensuring that systems are built and verified to meet specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Calibrate, scale, and program microprocessor-controlled electronic equipment
  • Program flow computers and configure systems according to software and engineering specifications
  • Assemble electronic enclosures and test electronics paired with flow meters
  • Test and troubleshoot analog and digital circuits to component level
  • Install, modify, and solder components on circuit boards using engineering drawings
  • Apply potting compounds and conformal coatings as per documented procedures

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training
  • 1-3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or production
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics
  • Operation of electronic test equipment, microscopes, hand tools, and power tools
  • IPC-J-STD-001 certification (preferred)
  • Experience with microprocessor-based systems and flow meter calibration (preferred)
  • Strong verbal communication skills

What the company offers

  • $17.00-$21.00 per hour
  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM schedule
  • W2 - Temporary (8-week assignment, potential for extension)
