Job Description

Overview

As an Electronics Technician at Salcomp, you will support the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for production equipment. You will be responsible for repairing, installing, and performing preventative maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on advanced production equipment
  • Repair and troubleshoot advanced production equipment
  • Conduct breakdown analysis and oversee equipment upgrades
  • Enforce GMP, safety, and audit standards
  • Document work performance and materials procurement
  • Participate in ongoing training programs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • 2+ years in large-scale manufacturing operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and cross-train
