Overview

ERD Ltd Inc is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join their team in Kernersville, North Carolina. The role involves the repair of electronic circuits and equipment, with a focus on a wide range of systems including AC/DC circuits and motor drives. Successful candidates will utilize their skills in troubleshooting and soldering to manage multiple repair projects effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair electronic circuits and equipment from low voltage to 3 phase 480VAC motor drives
  • Troubleshoot to the component level
  • Update repair status in the company database daily
  • Identify parts and source/cross-reference obsolete items
  • Work with or without schematics
  • Manage multiple jobs simultaneously using good communication skills

Required skills

  • 2 year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET)
  • Soldering and de-soldering skills
  • Proficient use of basic test equipment
  • Experience in AC/DC servo drives, VFDs, ECUs, or power supplies
  • PLC ladder logic programming/software experience
