Job Description

Overview

Donatech is seeking an Electronics Technician for 1st and 2nd shift openings in Oldsmar, Florida. This role involves testing, building, and repairing electronic components for high-tech equipment, with a path to potential permanent employment.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up testing equipment and run tests on electronic circuit boards and parts
  • Build and assemble electronic units following instructions and designs
  • Calibrate equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Diagnose and repair issues with electronic components
  • Utilize hand tools, small power tools, and measuring devices
  • Read schematics to identify faults in circuits
  • Document work using computer and basic software
  • Collaborate with engineers to test and improve new products

Required skills

  • At least 1 year of experience testing electronic assemblies
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Experience with Flying Probe or In-Circuit Tester
  • Familiarity with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, and frequency standards
  • Bonus: Experience with Radar Systems and RF circuits
  • Bonus: Experience with Vibration and Thermal testing of circuit boards and assemblies
