Job Description

Overview

The Electronics Quality Technician at Electronauts LLC is responsible for inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting electronic sub-assemblies and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role is crucial in maintaining product reliability and safety by providing hands-on analysis and documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect subassemblies and final products using industry-standard equipment and techniques.
  • Perform functional and in-circuit testing of electronic boards and systems.
  • Support root cause analysis of defects and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Document and report inspection results and quality deviations using internal systems.
  • Participate in audits and assist in compliance reporting.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to improve product quality.
  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment as needed.
  • Assist in the development and revision of inspection procedures and control plans.

Required skills

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in electronics testing, quality control, or related role
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and wiring schematics
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiar with quality tools and techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis)
  • Experience with soldering and rework
  • Certifications such as UL508a (preferred)
