Overview

Adept HR is seeking an Electronic Engineering Technician to join their team in Monrovia, California. The role involves performing calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic products to ensure they meet specifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform UPS calibration to product specifications
  • Conduct general functional and operational tests
  • Calibrate and test instruments for new products (prototypes and first articles)
  • Document calibration and test results in detail
  • Document failures in calibration and testing
  • Troubleshoot and repair products that did not pass calibration or functional tests

Required skills

  • Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering (Bachelor Degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience as an engineering technician (5+ years preferred)
  • Solid understanding of electrical schematics
  • Ability to identify electronic components and their functions
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to identify causes of failure
  • Experience in static and dynamic electronic measurements
  • Familiarity with DMM, LCR meter, and oscilloscope
  • Soldering skills for PCB assembly repair and modification
