Overview

Olymel is seeking a motivated Électromécanicien (Nuit) to join their dynamic team in Saint-Esprit, Quebec. This role involves ensuring the proper functioning and preventive maintenance of industrial equipment in a fast-paced work environment, contributing directly to operational efficiency and quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Interpret technical plans and documentation
  • Use measuring instruments
  • Perform lubrication operations
  • Execute the disassembly, installation, and adjustment of shafts, bearings, and bushings
  • Maintain and repair motion transmission and transformation devices
  • Maintain and repair industrial pumps and motors
  • Assemble, maintain, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
  • Apply logical diagnostic methods
  • Troubleshoot automated systems
  • Perform cutting, welding, machining, and grinding work
  • Troubleshoot industrial equipment
  • Design or modify industrial equipment
  • Adjust industrial equipment during production
  • Perform other related tasks

Required skills

  • DEP in electromechanics, industrial mechanics, or relevant training
  • Experience in industrial electromechanics (food sector is an asset)
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Skills in TIG, MIG, and arc welding (asset)
