L3Harris is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician B to join their team in Waterdown, Ontario. This role involves analyzing, assembling, and testing complex electro-mechanical systems, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and collaboration among cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex mechanical and electrical schematics for precise assembly and testing.
  • Execute the assembly of electro-mechanical assemblies with attention to detail and adherence to processes.
  • Handle and apply chemicals and safety protocols during the assembly process.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components for optimal system performance.
  • Resolve assembly level defects by collaborating with senior technicians and engineers.
  • Conduct environmental testing, operating thermal chambers and vibration tables.
  • Manage multiple priorities to meet project timelines and production goals.
  • Engage in collaboration with engineers, production teams, and management.
  • Document assembly, maintenance, test results, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Perform diagnostic testing and repairs on customer-owned equipment as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in assembly processes.

Required skills
