Job Description

Overview

The Electrician II at U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is responsible for all electrical work related to the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and facility electrical equipment. This role requires working closely with production personnel and using PLC software for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery
  • Utilize PLC software for troubleshooting manufacturing machinery
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities on facility and manufacturing machinery
  • Identify and recommend energy-saving initiatives and process improvements
  • Install and maintain network wiring
  • Comply with safety regulations and adhere to MA Electrical Code
  • Utilize maintenance management system to monitor and document electrical maintenance requests
  • Use various testing instruments to identify issues on power and control circuits
  • Work closely with production, engineering, mechanics, and contractors

Required skills

  • 5+ years of industrial experience
  • MA Licensed Electrician - Class B (Journeyman) or Class A (Master)
  • Ability to interpret electrical and technical diagrams and documents
  • Skills in using electrical testing instruments (power/control/calibration)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Customer service focus
  • Microsoft Office experience, particularly with Outlook
  • General computer skills
