Overview

Quantum Electric LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to oversee electrical projects in Orlando, Florida. This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills, requiring the individual to manage a team of electricians and ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical installations and repairs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues
  • Manage project timelines, materials, and labor
  • Conduct safety inspections and enforce safety protocols
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and project managers

Required skills

  • Journeyman Electrician license
  • 3+ years of electrical experience
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
