Overview

Corteva Agriscience is seeking an Electrician to join their team at the St. Joseph, Illinois production facility. In this role, you will ensure the operational efficiency of company equipment through electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety procedures while contributing to the company's mission of innovation in agriculture.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment
  • Ensure compliance with the electrical safety program and safety procedures
  • Make recommendations for improvements to safety and electrical programs
  • Maintain detailed equipment records and documentation
  • Collaborate with program leaders and teams to address safety and operational needs

Required skills

  • Journeyman Electrical experience
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicle
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in team environments
  • Experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
  • Previous industrial maintenance experience with electrical and mechanical systems
