Job Description

Overview

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for their York, Nebraska production location. In this role, you will be responsible for high-level electrical and mechanical installations, maintenance of facilities, and ensuring the safety and functionality of equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage plant electrical systems
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems
  • Lead safety culture initiatives
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Estimate labor and equipment costs
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and repair logs
  • Work on various electrical equipment from 12V to 480V
  • Interpret electric code applications
  • Complete various other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Experience with voltages from 24V to 480V 3 phase
  • Physical ability to perform job requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of control systems
  • Experience with electrical panels and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Willingness to work rotating days, shift work, and overtime when needed
  • Electrical journeyman license (preferred)
  • Three years of related PLC Automation experience (preferred)
  • Previous experience with HMI graphical interface programming and ladder logic (preferred)
