Job Description

Overview

Corteva Agriscience is seeking an Electrician to join their team at the St. Joseph, Illinois production facility. This role involves ensuring the operation of equipment, performing electrical repairs, and adhering to safety regulations while contributing to the company's mission of solving food problems through innovation and technology.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure operation of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control devices for processes and facilities.
  • Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections of equipment.
  • Review and assist program leaders with adherence to the electrical safety program.
  • Follow quality systems and safety procedures, including environmental regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs or process changes.
  • Maintain detailed equipment records and prints as required.

Required skills

  • Journeyman Electrical experience
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to climb and work in elevated areas
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain organized workplace
