Overview

Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the installation of electrical systems on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects in Greenville, South Carolina, and surrounding areas. This role involves managing field operations while ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines within a high-performing team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the safe installation of electrical systems from power distribution through final punch-out
  • Manage daily scheduling, quality control, staffing, and on-site logistics
  • Review project documents, specifications, drawings, and blueprints for compliance
  • Coordinate with the prefabrication shop to maximize field productivity
  • Plan, sequence, and lay out project work ensuring tools and materials are available
  • Maintain precise project records including time sheets and safety documentation
  • Manage electrical materials, tools, and equipment assigned to the job site
  • Supervise projects from groundbreaking through completion
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, local building codes, and industry standards
  • Mentor and develop foremen and field staff
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Use Procore and other software tools for project tracking

Required skills

  • 8+ years of experience in large-scale commercial or industrial electrical construction
  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage complex job sites
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC, local codes, and jobsite safety practices
  • Proficiency in construction software, experience with Procore is a plus
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Comfortable using computers, tablets, and digital project management tools
