Overview

Quality Plus Services is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for their Petersburg, VA location. The role involves overseeing electrical construction activities and leading field crews on commercial and industrial projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electrical crews on job sites
  • Coordinate daily schedules, materials, and manpower
  • Ensure work meets NEC, OSHA, and company standards
  • Review drawings and specifications for accurate execution
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety compliance
  • Communicate with project teams, inspectors, and clients
  • Track progress, productivity, and daily reporting

Required skills

  • 5+ years electrical experience (commercial/industrial)
  • Proven leadership or superintendent experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and installations
  • Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities
  • Valid driver's license
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license (nice to have)
  • OSHA 10 or 30 (nice to have)
  • Industrial or heavy commercial experience (nice to have)
