Job Description

Overview

Pennhab Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to ensure the safe installation of electrical systems for various customers. The role involves field leadership, project coordination, quality assurance, and adherence to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and support multiple crews across active job sites
  • Plan daily and weekly manpower needs based on project schedules
  • Mentor and develop journeymen and apprentices
  • Conduct daily jobsite walkthroughs to ensure quality and progress
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors
  • Schedule and oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning
  • Track project milestones and communicate progress to the Project Manager
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety audits
  • Maintain daily reports, manpower logs, and progress updates
  • Document change conditions and assist with closeout documentation

Required skills

  • 10+ years of electrical field experience, including leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of NEC and local codes
  • Experience with commercial and industrial installations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
