Overview

Jomar Electrical Contractors is looking for an Electrical Superintendent to oversee daily operations on commercial construction sites in Bellville, Texas. The role requires proven experience in the electrical contracting field, with an emphasis on safety, project management, and team leadership. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Ensure construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to facilitate workflow.
  • Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and mitigate issues.
  • Implement OSHA standards for a safe working environment.
  • Prepare reports on project status, including budget and resource allocation.
  • Lead and mentor site personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required skills

  • Experience in construction management or as a Superintendent in electrical contracting
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
  • Excellent supervisory skills
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools
  • Experience with construction estimating and budgeting
