Overview

Pitt Electric has been a known name in the electrical industry for 40 years, and they are seeking an Electrical Superintendent in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves planning and directing the work of small crews to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while maintaining safety and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and direct the work of small crews to ensure project tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Read plans, specifications, and submittal data to ensure correct equipment installation according to the National Electric Code.
  • Process project documents including change orders, RFIs, and daily progress reports.
  • Participate in scheduled project coordination meetings as directed by the project manager.
  • Enforce company and OSHA safety policies.

Required skills

  • At least 5 years of electrical experience
  • Journeyman's card
  • Working knowledge of computers and mobile devices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
