Job Description

Overview

As an Electrical Safety Engineer at Bosch in Wichita, you will be responsible for enforcing safety and environmental requirements in compliance with various standards. Your role involves risk analysis, incident investigations, and electrical safety training to ensure safe operations at the plants.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee implementation of safety and environmental requirements.
  • Establish HSE standards through risk and hazard analysis.
  • Investigate incidents to drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct electrical safety training and equipment assessments.
  • Support new equipment installation inspections.
  • Update one-line drawings in engineering software.
  • Provide recommendations for electrical safety improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA70E/OSHA and electrical regulations.

Required skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO, NFPA, NEC standards
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Understanding of AC/DC circuits and electrical codes
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude
  • Post high school education in Industrial Mechanics or Electronics
