Job Description

Overview

Talent Corps is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial electrical construction projects valued at over $20 million. The role requires a strong background in managing complex electrical systems from pre-construction to project closeout, with a focus on budget management, scheduling, and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from start to finish
  • Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and profitability
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and milestones
  • Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, owners, and subcontractors
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Lead field supervision teams, foremen, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and local requirements
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, and progress
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and field issues
  • Maintain strong client communication and project reporting

Required skills

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction
  • Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects ($20M+)
  • Strong understanding of commercial/industrial electrical systems
  • Experience with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera)
  • Solid knowledge of NEC codes and construction safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors
