Job Description

Overview

The Electrical Project Manager role at Talent Corps Direct involves overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of various electrical construction projects across commercial, industrial, and government sectors. This position requires managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships while ensuring project performance from preconstruction through closeout.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead estimating, planning, and execution of electrical construction projects
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Oversee project schedules and ensure milestones are met
  • Develop and maintain project reports, documentation, and client updates
  • Serve as the primary client contact for communication and satisfaction
  • Coordinate with field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and internal teams
  • Conduct site visits for project startup, progress validation, and closeout review
  • Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and field issues proactively
  • Manage change orders, procurement, billing, and contract compliance
  • Support and mentor project team members and field leadership

Required skills

  • 7-10+ years of electrical construction experience
  • 5+ years of electrical project management experience
  • Journeyman Electrician License preferred
  • Strong knowledge of commercial, industrial, and government electrical construction
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, and forecasting experience
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with project management and estimating software
