Job Description

Overview

Blooming Glen Contractors, part of The H&K Group, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from preconstruction to closeout. The role involves planning, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring projects are completed safely and in compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contracts for compliance
  • Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
  • Oversee change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and NEC codes
  • Lead project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders
  • Support field leadership in resolving project challenges
  • Ensure timely project closeout and documentation

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, and institutional projects preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with cloud point data and 3D scanning technologies
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Possession of an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification or actively working towards it
