Job Description

Overview

Hayden Power Group is seeking a full-time Electrical Prefabrication Foreman to supervise and guide prefabrication and electrical assembly technicians in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical construction and leadership, contributing to the company's mission of providing safe and innovative electrical solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise and mentor prefabrication/electrical assembly technicians
  • Collaborate with the Prefabrication Director/Manager to plan and execute project requirements
  • Interpret electrical drawings and develop efficient assembly strategies
  • Create and modify 2D digital drawings for prefabrication using software tools
  • Coordinate preconstruction activities and attend project turnover meetings
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and field leadership
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production and workflow issues
  • Maintain inventory and coordinate material needs with purchasing agents
  • Document time, materials, and team hours using digital systems
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with standards
  • Promote a safety-first culture through supervision
  • Complete job safety analysis forms as required

Required skills

  • 2 years electrical vocational school preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of NEC and NFPA70E standards
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, AutoCAD
  • Revit experience a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and decision-making abilities
  • Proactive learner with a desire to improve
  • Organizational and coordination abilities
  • Ability to coach and develop assembly teams
  • Experience managing commercial electrical projects
